We are a FACCM (Florida Association of Childcare Management) certified specialty consulting firm that helps preschool and childcare centers offer high quality care, grow business and become a "Gold Seal" accredited facility. We will help you build a foundation of quality in your business by focusing on health and safety standards, professional development, and classroom structure/curriculum. Accreditation Coaching/Portfolio Construction
We will help you assemble the portfolio and train your staff in preparation for your accreditation visit. We will perform a mock verification visit to prepare your staff and be with you every step of the way until you receive the Gold Seal Status.
Staff Training and Professional Development
We will assist in coaching and guiding your staff, ensuring that they take the appropriate steps in obtaining the required DCF hours, as well as pursuing and completing a CDA. We will partner with the local coalitions and TEACH scholarship to help your staff get and stay on track with professional development.
HR Management and Retention
We will analyze your staff roster to best optimize your classroom management. Taking into consideration DCF and Gold Seal ratios, we will help you adjust your class structure, making for best efficiencies and improved confidence for retention and longevity amongst your staff.
Classroom & Curriculum Management
We will consult and spend time with you in your classrooms to ensure that the layout is safe and useful for each age group’s requirements and demands. Additionally, we will help you select quality curriculum, finding one that suits your budget and enrollment needs.
Financial Management
We will consult with you on how to maximize your operating margins and profits. We will assist in helping you navigate the government subsidy and grant programs, and how to best utilize funds in an efficient and profitable manner.
ABOUT US
We are a husband/wife team who successfully ran American Pre-Schools in Orlando for 10 years. We are former Wall Street executives that took our vast business knowledge and applied it to revamp a well-known preschool that needed some “TLC.” After 10 years of operating a well-oiled machine, as well as having representation on the Board of Directors of the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County as Private Provider Representative, we are offering that advice to others. We know that we can help you run your high-quality business profitably, and successfully!
VISION STATEMENT
The childcare industry and early childhood education is at a major inflection point. Because of Covid19, school closures, lockdowns, and zoom learning have affected our children in ways we couldn’t imagine. Socialization, communication skills and emotional development have eroded due to the overwhelming use of technology, and the pandemic has only exacerbated an already deteriorating situation. Throughout our years as owners, we have been in contact with many providers and preschools and have heard much of the same concerns. Many state that preschool enrollment is down, and it is getting harder to find staff who want to care for young children. Target pays $15+ an hour, and more people would rather work less flexible hours for slightly more pay than at a childcare facility. We cannot compete with corporate America to find talent, and we need to find more creative ways to hire, cultivate and retain our staff. The government has decided to throw money at the problem without providing much of a road map for rebuilding or success. Many preschool owners are not in the facility daily and lack the knowledge to run a successful child care business. We, being the very “present” owners we were, certainly have that knowledge. We turned an aging school with low enrollment into a blossoming center running at maximum capacity in 3 years. We reinvested in the center year after year and saw enormous turnaround in enrollment and reputation in the local community. At the height of the Covid pandemic, we had our highest revenue year and continued to provide safe and reliable child care services that the community can trust. We regularly speak to many providers throughout Orange County. All described an industry and workforce in desperate need of professional help. How did we remain so successful during a pandemic and what’s our secret? The childcare industry is at a serious crossroads, who is going to help?
